Learning
With the QFT Learning programme, QFT offers a range of year-round activities which are open and accessible to all. Within the main QFT programme there are many events which enable audiences to engage further and creatively with cultural cinema. QFT hosts film talks, film director Q & A's, film workshops or discussions. See the TALKS section of the website for further details.
We also co-ordinate a year-round schools programme of educational screenings, designed to support the national curriculum from KS1- AS & A2 level. The Schools Out programme which offers free screenings to schools is supported by Northern Ireland Screen Education and Film Education. See the Primary and Post Primary Schools for further details.
We work with community groups too on our outreach projects, which attract nearly 6000 young people per year. We have just received a grant from the Belfast City Council to work with four local youth groups on a new project called Take Over Film Festival. See the Community for further details.
QFT has a Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults policy, which will be available online soon. For more details on this policy please contact Marion Campbell - details below.
