Rudo Y Cursi

Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna, the stars of the wonderful Y Tu Mama Tambien, are reunited in this light-hearted tale of two soccer-mad brothers.

Rudo (Luna) and Cursi (Bernal) are stalwarts of their local team; undeniably talented they are also rather long in the tooth. Nevertheless they are spotted by a sleazy talent scout who offers them the chance of fame, fortune and football stardom.

Whisked off to the big city the high life soon beckons the brothers, and with it come the distractions of girls, drugs, gambling and celebrity culture.

Produced by Gulliermo Del Toro, Rudo Y Cursi is a delightfully irreverent cautionary tale and a must for lovers of the beautiful game.
