BT Surprise Screening

18

BT and QFT will be celebrating cinema's dream city - New York - with the BT Surprise Screening on Saturday 9 October, from 9pm.

Susan Picken, Head of QFT said:

"From the iconic skylines of Manhattan to the edgy atmosphere of the Bronx, New York has been the dream location and inspiration for film directors, writers and actors for over 100 years. We are delighted to be celebrating the Big Apple's cinematic heritage with the BT Surprise Screening."

While the title of the film will remain a closely guarded secret until the credits roll, QFT will be releasing a series of clues over the coming weeks, to encourage people to think about, look at and discuss film in new and innovative ways.

The event is part of BT and QFT's three year collaboration and will bring together QFT's history of bringing the best of film to Northern Ireland and BT's reputation for innovation through communication. The BT Surprise Screening will see the QFT foyer transformed into a typical New York panorama for the night with a Statue of Liberty, stars and stripes bunting, a slideshow of iconic scenes from the Big Apple, themed cocktails, food and music.

Tickets for the BT Surprise Screening are £6. Find out the first clues and book online at www.queensfilmtheatre.com/BTSurprise
